#Tyrechic (Alida Mouton) in Sarie Magazine

Alida Sarie “Tot siens klerebedryf, hallo tyre chic...

Die klerefabriek was vir my as groentjie ‘n goeie uitdaging en harde werk.

UIT MY GEMAKSONE

Ek moes baie dinge baie vining leer. Dit was my trekpleister. Naday my pa, Charles, saam met my begin werk het, het my man, Deon, asook my broers, Charles en Pieter, betrokke geraak. Nou is ons een groot gesinsonderneming. Ek is mal oor my werk, want dit druk my heeltyd uit my gemaksone.

IN ‘N MANSWÊRELD

In 2003 was ek die enigste Westerse vrou by ‘n internasionale konferensie in Weihai, China. Gelukkig is Deon ‘n ondersteunende pa.”

◦ Ek beaam graag modeontwerper Coco Chanel: “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

Useless Fact Of The Week: The meaning of the Sailun Logo

Ever wondered what goes into the design of a logo? Sailun illustrates to us with words:

  • The logo represents the shape of a tire with simple lines to imply our industry feature.
  • From a 3-dimensional angle, three tires juxtapose in the logo, which has dual meanings: 1) It symbolizes combination of multiple technologies to imply prominent quality of Sailun 2) It expresses a racing state to emphasize spirit of competition
  • From a 2-dimensional angle, the right part represents sail, while the left part represents waves and sprays, indicating Sailun is sailing.
  • On the left, the bracket is like the initial “c” in the word “communication”, which indicates that information technology is core technology in tire industry.
  • The straight lines in each letter imply rigidness of corporation administration, while the smooth transitional part implies our people-oriented management.
